A Heartfelt Thank You for Your Generosity

Katie & Charleigh Richardson

I’m writing to tell you Thank you very much for your generosity. For Helping families like mine. Knowing that having a family member that has a lifelong medical condition can be challenging and financially straining. Also stressful on your mind, body and soul. The day Jane & Joe Marino approached me about this, would have been my parents 47th wedding anniversary & 51 years together. See it was another first of the first of not having my dad around. See he passed away April 9th of 2024. So it was like my dad saying hey baby girl (a sign, a hello) look I found another way to helping like he always did. See he was my dad but he was Pawpaw to my daughter & her best friend. They were two peas in a pod. So then when Jane & Joe helped me come up with just a list of things. I thought okay if he just helps out with one of the things on the list. I would be thankful for. But you went up and beyond said yes to all. I’m so grateful & thankful for your Generosity. When you have a medical child. You always waiting for another shoe to drop. It part of the trauma that comes with it. But my dad was always telling me to just look for the positive side of things. Always Be Kind because in the end that what we are supposed to be and do. When I was growing up my Dad & Mom was always helping others in the way they could. So from the bottom of my heart & soul thank you again for helping the way you have helped.

So I wanted to give you a small token of appreciation to you & your family. My Dad look like Santa. Some called him PawPaw Santa. He also look like Gnome. Because of his long beard long hair, his spenders that he would wear. He loved gardening & make an outside garden be a nice calming place to enjoy. He would have at least one wind chime always since growing up in his garden or in the porch. So I found this one on the day everything was finished but of course I sent to the wrong address he to wait for my mom to send it to me. I hope you enjoy of it & think of a lil girl with half heart that loved her pawpaw a lot & he loved her a lot too. Knowing that she also thinks of you being an Angel on earth that her pawpaw sent to help us. I always feel the same way. May God bless you and your family!
