"It truly does take a village"
Cruz-Severino Family
I honestly don’t even know where to start, because “thank you” just doesn’t feel like enough.
As a parent, you want to give your child everything they need—to make their life easier, keep them comfortable, and give them every opportunity to be happy. But sometimes you need help, and asking for that help isn’t always easy.
A Voice For Mikey and the MAR 5 Gratitude Foundation showed up for my daughter when we truly needed it. Helping us get her specialized stroller and sensory toys means more to me than I can put into words.
To some, it might just look like a stroller and toys. To us, it is so much more. It means my daughter can move around comfortably, feel safe, and stay regulated. It’s knowing that people looked at my child and said, “She matters. Her needs matter.” That is a feeling I will never forget.
When people step in to help without making you feel like a burden, it touches your heart deeply. I was overwhelmed, I cried, and I am filled with so much gratitude. You didn’t just help my daughter—you gave me peace of mind and reminded our family that we are not alone.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for seeing her, caring about her, and making a real difference in her everyday life. We are beyond grateful for your kindness. It truly does take a village.
With heartfelt thanks,
Cruz-Severino family
